The Barrel House

If you are eloping or having an intimate wedding of fifteen guests or less, that could be an excellent choice for you.

Built in 1970, a famous local rock band once wrote and practiced their music here, and the current owner has said they'd like to continue the tradition of bringing good energy into the space. In that spirit, a charitable donation will be made for every wedding that we photograph here! (We will have a list of charities, or you can suggest your own. Just no politics please)

What do we love about this venue?

1. Very close proximity to Muir Woods National Monument, which has an easy to navigate board walk and bridges nestled in the historic old growth redwood trees. We can drive there in about ten minutes, and will secure parking passes ahead of time for ease of arrival.

2. The venue is even closer to Muir Beach and the Muir Beach Overlook. These are the two stops you can't miss at sunset. (Or sunrise if you're an early bird!)

3. A private deck or green grassy lawn for your intimate ceremony.

4. A beautiful private suite for getting ready. Light and airy with decks off of every floor and tons of natural light.

5. A spacious great room with floor to ceiling windows that open up to nature and the rolling hills and pacific ocean in the distance.
