Muir Woods Elopement
If you haven't been to Muir Woods National Monument before then let me tell you, it's positively magical. There's no outdoor event place I love more! From the Golden Gate Bridge, it's just a 21 minute trip out to this ancient redwood forest. There are wide plank walkways,and a towering canopy of trees to protect you from the elements. You'll find yourself submerged in nature but without a lot of effort to get there, which is convenient on your big day. You can get a permit for wedding ceremonies that take place before 10am and after 4:30 pm, which is great light no matter what time of year it is, and crowds are smaller then as well so it's a win-win. You'll want to make sure you buy your parking permit ahead of time here.
