Same-sex Weddings San Francisco City Hall Welcomes YOU!

I always say the most stunning brides come from Texas; in this case, it’s accurate times two. From what a lot of my gay clients have told me, Texas is not always the friendliest, most welcoming place to be in a same-sex relationship or have a commitment ceremony since legal marriage is not offered there as of this blog writing. (That could change this summer; fingers crossed for them!)

Many of them decide to come to San Francisco for their destination weddings because it’s nice to get married someplace where you feel welcome, it’s legal, and most importantly, we really want you here! I can’t tell you how many of my same-sex couples show up and are hesitant that they’ll be welcomed, and by the end of the day, they’re kissing and holding hands as tons of strangers congratulate them and tell them how great they look. These couples often comment that “it’s not like this back home,” and they look shocked that any place could truly be so happy for them. Brittani and Linnsie were no different in that respect, and it was an honor to photograph their big day.
