This SF Engagement Session is a Romantic Daydream

Romantic San Francisco Proposal Session Location

Would you LOVE to know the most amazing and versatile location for your surprise proposal or engagement session? We're super excited to share this couple's journey with you, and their location is hiding in plain sight.

Even if you've never been to San Francisco, you've probably still heard of Golden Gate Park, and it's the third most visited park in the United States with over one thousand acres for gorgeous couples photography! There are endless landscaped areas, trees, trails, and flower gardens with many cultural themes. They have everything from an ancient redwood forest, a Chinese pagoda, and a real Dutch windmill with its own colorful tulip garden.

Their choice was the Stow Lake area, and they rented an adorable rowboat there for part of their session with their engagement photographer. You can find the boathouse located at 50 Stow lake Drive, San Francisco, CA 94118, or look them up to rent your own boat, at stowlakeboathouse.com. They had an amazing time and managed to pose beautifully while rowing a boat, but there was so much more to their day!

What's the best place for a surprise proposal in San Francisco?

I love this question. One of my top five locations was their next stop and that would be the man-made waterfall on Strawberry Hill. It's technically an island located in the middle of the lake, but so many bridges attach it to the mainland, that it doesn't feel like an island at all.

Take a look at this proposal and you'll see why the waterfall is such a perfect and popular place for a marriage proposal. It definitely has the "wow" factor and I don't see how anyone could possibly not feel completely spoiled by having their love pop the question in this jaw-dropping location. She said YES!
